SFP Course

A one day course, live online, built for the SFP as it now is rather than as it worked before 2025.

The morning covers the process: the two routes in England, what your medical school can and cannot ask of you, how Scotland and Northern Ireland differ, and how to find out what your own school’s selection involves. The rest of the day works on the things that come up whatever format your school uses: structuring an answer around a real example from your own experience, appraising a paper under time pressure, talking through the management of an acutely unwell patient, and discussing research ethics sensibly.

It is taught by NHS doctors who came through the programme themselves, including highest scoring applicants to their region. Your seat includes the recording of the day, and one SFP mock interview to use when you are ready for it.
